This post is more a question of my action on the turn, and whether a raise was necessary. Villain seemed somewhat donkish, although my hand sample on him was somewhat small. He was something like 60/0 over 12 hands. Bad move on my part?

The bet on the turn is a bit large and a check isn't horrible. Once you bet $9 on the turn I'd push his raise since he's somewhat shorter.

The whole purpose of a turn bet is to deny draws and/or be prepared to go to the felt (building the pot). Pretty obvious he doesn't have a draw and if you're gonna lead the turn you should be prepared to go the felt with a stack of his size.

Just push on the turn after his raise, your min re-raise does the small thing I guess, so it is no biggie...just looks a little odd.
