the min raise had been happening repeatedly. the multiple callers as well. the y had folded to a reraise from another opponent before. i wanted to take the pot dow preflop or with a standard cbet. i was callign his push, if he pushed no matter what.

whaddya think?

I don't really see the point... just call preflop and hope to hit a good flop with tons of people in.

I agree. From what I've seen, a minraise in the micros can easily be a new and/or bad player who never got any instruction on how to raise preflop. The guy could have the rockets and minraise just because that's the amount the raise button has on it. Add to this the fact that you had seen him do it multiple times before, and this becomes an even more likely scenario. Just take advantage of the fact that these people don't price out your 98s on the button that is going to flop a combo draw by putting in a 4x+1x for every limper raise when they have JJ in MP1.

lol @ preflop. I think this sucks big time. And why are you calling the flop raise without odds?

Whoopsie, I somehow saw him with a gutshot. Pardon me, the call is fine with an OESD.

so...given you're calling the push, is it better to push $10 into a $7 pot in the flop?
