d*mn it. Being forced by the ball and chain to go away this weekend and christmas shop and stuff.

You can't imagine how lucky you all are. I'm not so bold to say I would have won the whole thing because there is luck involved in poker. But I certainly would have knocked a good number of you clowns out.

I really wanted a custom title too!

Also: I hope to play AJ heads up for the match - and bust him with AJ. That really would be sweet poetic irony.

Also also: can europeans confirm - this is 9pm GMT Saturday night, right?

My strategy is playing like a pussy and blinding off just short of the final table. Also, I only ever play Aces or Kings, and because I've been burned so many times, I just limp in and check/call all the way to the river. I learned this strategy from watching many hours of Tom MacEvoy's play.

EV of this strategy? -9.65

EV of giving my monies to Ed? -11

Obviously the secret to winning a donkament is to:

1) Get it all in with the worst hand, or

Congrats and thanks to Lorez for setting up this entertaining catastrophe...

I hung on long enough to just not quite make the final table, but had a blast. Tough field for sure... The snarky in-tourney chat was great entertainment...

I donked off all my chips semibluffing a straight draw into a set in blind level 2. Awful move, I was distracted at the time by a pesky roommate trying to trick me into washing his dishes.
Anywho, does anyone know why stars never charged me 11$ for the tourney? I just looked at the cashier and my roll is exactly the same as it was 2 days ago... very strange...

I missed out on the tournament 'cos I didn't see it posted.
One problem is that because it is not sticky it vanishes very quickly from the first page.

Increased it to 30.
In the time it took me to read you post, increase the number and come back it had already dropped down to nearly the bottom of the screen.

blitz,

It was sticked for like 3 weeks.

I saw it there early on but not when the password was posted.
But then, I am getting senile (just look at the way I am playing poker) so I could be wrong.

Well yeah I didn't win. But I think when you compensate for the "Entire tournament massively rigged in Lorez' favour" factor, I think I did well to have him at about 27k vs 23k HU. As for the final hand I did think about it a whole lot but given that I saw him push AI with JTs earlier in the tourney I rekon I was about 55/45 vs his range. Which is good enough for me.

Tufat we will have to postpone the $30 FIGHT YO until I get the internet =( and there was also another HU SNG grudge match I was supposed to have - cant remember the opponent - which I wasn't able to complete due to being at my gf's house and having to collect on her promise of "all night lovin for a top ten finish". /images/graemlins/heart.gif gf
