How should I be playing a hand like this?

Maybe a larger flop bet? Seems standard.

The all-in call on the turn raise - is this ok because we think we have the best hand often enough, or because we're pot committed?

This seems like a case of being slightly ahead or way behind with some outs. Villian checks the turn, I'd be inclined to also check with out tp and str8 draw. You have just induced villian to bluff out on the river, and I would call psb and below.

I agree with this. And because it was 3 way, its less likely just one pair is good, so your likely drawing. Both pot control+you have a draw+the board is scary

On the turn you basically decide whether you want to be all in with the hand if it continues or not.
