Villain is 17/6 and passive postflop. As tight as he is I'm not sure 3betting preflop is best, and I'm not sure if raising the flop is best. Raising the flop essentially gets him off any hand I beat, but he is passive enough that he wont bet again if I'm ahead.

What do you think?

I figured as much. I'm still concerned about preflop. Is this an auto 3bet?

Nah. I think calling is fine vs. this nitty a range, but that's me.

calling is fine IP and agaisnt his UTG raise, but raising the flop sucks.

Really? dont you think a psb is likely to be a weaker ace that will call the raise a fair percentage fo the time?

I don't think a guy with 17/6 stats is raising many weaker aces UTG. Maybe AQs and very remotely AJs but I imagine that he does that rarely AND is unlikely to pay off a raise.

Hmm, I think 3Bet is fine here there is some flush draw posiblities and straight draw but thats not very likley. I think he could be betting to Jam the pot if he hits his flush draw. He could have a set but i dont think he would bet that strong on flop if he has a set more often than not pepole like to slowplay their sets.

I dont think i want to slowplay TPTK on this board against a nit and he might even call with a weaker A such as AQ.
