100bb stacks.
You raise 4bb first in on the button with 78s.
The BB reraises to 12bb.
You KNOW he has either KK or AA.
You know he will never fold postflop.
What do you do and why.

what % do we flop 2 pair or trips
what % do we flop a straight or a flush
If we flop a straight or flush draw how aggressive if villian? (will we get to draw for cheap or will he price us out?)

KNOWING that villian has AA/KK I expect them to play them aggro even at 10^-6 limits and we won't be getting priced in for our draws (since it is a RR pot we will get it all-in on the turn). I don't think we flop two pair/trips enough to be +EV.
Thoughts?

If you know your opponents hand and know he wont fold there are still 88bb to be made for an investment of 8 more, this is a call.

The only time you ever have a problem here is the 1% of the time your 8 comes with a K or an A. If you give up on those automatically you only have a 11% chance of hitting clean, and you need 9-1 getting 11 to 1. So call.

If you get involved with those hands:

11% hits clean 8.7% he sucks out, EV=.913(88)+.087(-88)=+73
.66% hits dirty, but you're good, same +73EV
.33% hits dirty, you're bad, EV=-80.4
88% you miss, EV=-8

Multiply across and add it up.... for a small win of 1.20

If you auto dump those hands you sacrifice +.21 in EV.

can someone calculate how many times hero will flop two pair or better? w/o this information, we cannot know if this is a fold or a call.

The rule of 5/10 runs this show.

Edit: tending on the side of folding however, because the flop is going to be expensive.

I agree. With a small pair this is an easy call because you either hit your set and continue or miss and fold. With suited connectors though it's different because often when you do flop something it'll be a drawing hand and if you're going to be facing a PSB on the flop it's going to be tough to continue.

How do you "know" the blind has KK or AA?
