I think in both of these hands I should've potted the flop so the turn wouldn't be an overbet. As played, what do you think?

Hand1 - don't like it, only a made flush set ovepairs/weaker Ax with a diamond may call,the pots only 10$ and I would prefer holding a diamond.

Probably check turn in hand1.

hand2: I just bet turn 2/3-this is a 'blind battle' and bet river too if not raised, though I may check turn also.

dammnit Jigsaws I need reads/notes to play NL goot /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Only j/king I know you said assume unknowns but this does illustrate why reads/notes/table conditions make playing NL easier. With these I may shove hand1 like yourself.

Yeah, betting more gives you better stacks for a push on turn. I pot this drawy flops nearly allways.
