Villain seems to raise a lot of high cards from CO/button, so I thought he missed this flop. How is blockbetting this river?

From your read he seems like is TAGgy. I would have 3 bet preflop and lead the flop.

after you raise the flop you have to lead the turn... as played easy fold on the river

yes and yes. You haven't yet priced him out if he's drawing.

if you're read is he has missed overcards alot time then
in this specific scenario I think I would call flop -keeps pot small.
Then lead turn on 7 pairing top card on flop is better IMHO and charges a diamond flush draw to.

Obv. if raised fold and you may have had to blck a non-diamond river if he called the turn so check calling a blank river would be sexy. As played c/fold river.

villans range quite wide based on OPs observations -
but in order of likelyness
{diamond draw, PPs (medium), 2 broadway {suited diamonds too}, ..}
