I have been on my A game and have not gotten out of line. Is this a bad spot to semi-bluff?

wtf are you playing 2nl for?

im not sure semibluffing at 2nl is all that profitable, no ones folding a J here at this level. I probably just peel with tha odds hes laying us.

I would have just called the turn getting better then 4:1 on your money. Villain thinks he has something when donkeys at this level think they have something they ain't folding. Semi-bluffing is nice if you think villain is weak and can lay down a hand(hard to find at these stakes).

What makes you think you can get villain to fold? He called your pot sized flop bet, then led out on the turn. Sounds like he has at least a pair, which is the NUTS at the $2NL tables. Take the cheap card and bust him if you hit your str8, or call a small bet if you hit your K or Q.

I feel like tilting money off at 2nl instead of 400. Yet, I kept losing buyins and I dont think I can honestly beat microlimits.

lol. There's a reason the stack-a-donk line works so well.

This is about the only type of semibluff I pull and this works a large % of the time. Besides they raise when you're beat and you can get away from it. Well it might not be such a bluff as I more then likely had the best hand.

yes, it would be bad to semibluff in a spot where a lot of hands are drawing. Hence your check raise on the turn is bad.

In second hand you were probably against a busted flush draw. I like your river bet size.
