This hand is bothering me.

Villain is pretty loose, seems to fold to aggression post-flop yet plays fast if he is the aggressor.

Should I be more aggressive here on the flop or be cautious? Later streets? Was I too greedy fearing to lose him to a flop reraise given the reads? What is the best line here with a flopped set? Thanks.

Hero does not check the flop, but leads for pot. Turn you can call to stack him if you hit your boat.

yucko, if i check this flop (which i rarely do) it will be to put in a monster check raise.

Thanks for straightening my head up. I was sick of the table being too cautious and folding to my bets, so started screwing with this hand.

And there is no point in building up the pot once the turn card comes, am I right?

raise preflop 40-50c. i would lead flop for pot. if he reraises you then push. it's unlikely he's flopped a flush and you're ahead of a draw. even if he's got the flush you're not in too bad shape with outs to a full house.

get as many chips in the middle as possible on the flop, c/c is the worst line here (besides c/f maybe).

Ok, suppose hero pots the flop, gets one call.

Another club comes on the turn. What would you do here? Lead the turn, call modest reraise drawing to a boat, fold to a push - does this line sound all right?

Do whatever will get you to the river as cheaply as possible calling bets up to what you believe gives you correct implied odds for boating up. If you don't boat up on the river - play poker.

Edit: ...or if you think the situation is right, semi-bluff your boat "draw" and hope villain gives up a mid-/images/graemlins/club.gif or worse (the problem here though is the A/images/graemlins/club.gif may push and you will mainly be folding out worse hands).
