$.25/.50 NL, I have $170, villain has me covered. Villain will limp or call a small raise with any 2, chases a lot, bets huge when he hits, and often gets called.

I'm BB with T2, 5 limpers, pot =$3.

Flop: TT2, I bet $3. 1 limper and villain call. Pot=$12.
Turn: 9, I bet $10, limper folds, villain calls. Pot= $32.
River: 2, (yuck) I bet $15. Villain pushes.

I have about $142 left in my stack. The best case scenario is we split. This is a huge bet to call just for a split, but then again, the odds of him having T9 are extremely remote. What do I do?

Check-call river.

As played, I have no clue. Math problem, I guess, and those are not my strong point.

I can see villain on a medium pocketpair (33 - 99) often enough to make this call worthwhile. I am not sure though, this might be an easy math and probability solution to this problem.

I fold. Hardly anything invested.

3 buyins on a best case scenario split? I don't see him bluffing here often enough for a call.

I played with villain for several hours. There's no way he had 33-99.

I don't see how you get away from this. I'd say this is a split 95% of the time.

I call.

I would be sick to my stomach about it, but I call here. To easy he has a hand you have beat.
