I hate blackjack

I tried my first Casino a month or so ago. Casino-on-net, a $200 bonus with a $4,000 WR. I duly wagered the entire amount a $1 per bet using the Wizardofodds Crypto chart & lost about $150 whilst doing so. (I posted about it here at the time).

That put me off BJ, but today I (foolishly) decided I'd try again so I tried the William Hill bonus (which is £50/$80 the first time you do it with a $2,000 WR).

I tried the same method again, min-betting. After $500wagered I was $20 up. $700 later I'd lost that $20 plus the entire bonus. I cashed out at that point so as not to lose my deposit too.

Surely that's ridiculously crap, even allowing for BJ variance? Wager $700 & lose over $100 min-betting?

I guess some people are making money casino-whoring but I'm struggling to imagine it right now. Every time I have 12-16 I get a 10, every time the dealer has 12-16, he gets a card that lands him on 18,19,20,21. Quite unbelievable.


I don't think it's fixed BTW, just that I had sh*t luck.


Will listen to my own advice & not try this again.

Last week I'd whored the Casion on Net and luckily got $180 bonus. Now I'm playing at the Victor Chandler and it's getting worse and worse. Each hand he's got 10 or 11 and I got 12 or 15, I've got BJ, he's got BJ too. So, it's luck I suppose.

Like some of the other guys have said dont lose heart , what have you lost so far apart from a bit of time. Im sure that most people here have bust out on more than one casino, I know i have. Sometimes it looks like the cards are fixed when you keep drawing 10's when you have 12-16, but you have runs when you hit the cards you want as well. You could try some of the casino's that offer a Surrender option of Blackjack (Starluck, Golden Palace etc).

Very. Starluck and Planetluck are usually the first two people hit. Golden Palace is usually close behind. I personally did Online Casino rather than GP (same company ... you can only do one) and made like $300 there. Played Empire last night and screwed up the bonus but ran great. Up $270 and haven't even started the $200 bonus yet.

I finished it last week, I busted out of my original £250 deposit with still £1000 WR left to do i was too far into it so deposited another £100. Played Single deck Blackjack to finish it and luckily made a slight profit cashed out £397 for a £47 profit. If you are down less than £100 after doing £2000 WR i would seriously consider claiming the £100 bonus. Ive no doubt that the software is slightly dodgy although some people here have had wins from it.

Wow, I cleared VC a while back when only Brits knew of it. A slow grind but an easy £250. Was never down by more than £30 for the whole WR.

You done Sky Bet yet Silver? (£250 20x WR), im considering it but ive heard the software is as dodgy as VC on their Blackjack suite. Ive opened an account but havent started it yet.

Skybet was pretty cool, I found the software fast, and cashout back to my bank account was instant (they don't do netteller)

The cashout was actully listed a day before the deposit on the bank statment!

I checked out dashcasino since I did betdirect last month and made a nice profit. Is it the 50/50/1500 bonus you mean? I don't see how to play that one? It's only slots, keno and scratch cards that contribute 100%. Other half decent games 50% and the good ones (BJ, craps and baccarat) only 10%.
So.. how did you play this one?

I also have good exp with Skytbet. Did them early in my whoaring carrier and ack then I made my biggest win for a long time on skybet...

I envy you guys you get the £250 bonus from VC... My records show I got a £100 sign up bonus back when I did them... over two years ago... only a 5*B WR though.. =)

I played it with the CBW Twofer system - deposit £50, get bonus, £100 bet on dealer in bacarat and then grind WR with french roulette.

Log into the casino (must be from the casino page). Then you will get a popup where in the lower right there should be an option to view game history or something like that.

You mean the account page. That's where I'm trying to trace it but I find only Game Replay and it's only the Game IDs there, not the exact wagering. /images/graemlins/confused.gif
