As for the hand; If you have to play AJo here shut down after he calls your flop raise...come river you are not beating anything. But it is not totally horrid - depending on villain. FWIW I fold pf.

As for converting UB hands (these are notoriously hard to get right with potsizes and etc.)

Get UB handgrabber (google it) or cut and paste from the hand history window. After "No Limit'Holdem" add Powered by UltimateBet so it looks like this:

Hand #35085458-1645 at Corvallis (No Limit Hold'em)

Go here:

paste your hand with the added line -
and choose format 2+2 forums
don't include results.

good luck.

Normally I wouldn't call raises in Full Ring with AJo. Did you have a read?

I like the flop raise and turn check. River is probably a crying call.

All in all this hand is so difficult to play profitably because of the preflop call. If this guy is very loose preflop then you can reraise him. If he's a regular player then this is an easy fold.

You are beating any club draw and TT-KK which is easily in his range.

I agree TT-KK are easily in his range as a lot of other junk but does TT-KK lead river after flop raise?

I dunno if it's profitable, and it's definitely a read thing, but I often call a lead after checking the turn with top pair. That's part of the reason we check the turn. You are keeping the pot small and also inducing a bluff to get value from hands in WA/WB situations.

For this specific line (raise pf, bet-call flop) I'm not so sure if it's profitable readless. I'd probably crying call for information and the small chance we're ahead, and then have a better read on him next time.

But I might just be a river station /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyways, we'd avoid this whole mess by folding pf until we have a better handle on villain.
