Taxes are stressing me out and I don't know what to do!!!
I feel information on this subject should be more easily available. I am willing to organize some type of thread/ FAQ section or put in the time to organize something, which will help players in the future, but I don't know exactly what I should do? I would like your suggestions and maybe others to help me out.

Questions and things I would like to cover
1.What percentage of your winnings do you have to pay?
2.What is the correct way, best way and other ways to record your winnings?
3.Maybe show different tax forms and how to fill them out.
4.Should you talk to a CPA or professional?
5.If you haven't been recording anything half way through the year, are you screwed/what can you do?

Thank you!

There is a tax thread in the Zoo, it is listed in the FAQ there... also you will find many tax related threads in the finance forum... and there were also a bunch of tax threads in this forum around tax time.

The best advice is to consult a tax professional with experience in this area.

As an fyi, when I came on board to this forum as a mod, I was given the indication that 2+2 preferred not to have tax stickies b/c it may be considered official, professional help coming from the company....when in reality it is not.
