Hi There hope posting in this thread is ok

just wondering if anybody switched from party to stars after party banned US players.
I did and have been playing [censored] ever since. I seem to be playing the exact same game but seem to get my cbets busted more and my raises reraised alot more.
Are the players on stars that much better that I have gone from 10BB/100 to -2BB/100. the -2BB/100 is over 10000 hands.

Actually, I was expecting Stars players to be better. I found (playing $25 and $50 tables) that they were still pretty bad.

Probably just variance.

I thought it might be variance at the start but 10000 hands is a bit much.I was thinking of moving back to 25nl to rebuild some confidence.
But maybe I'll just try play through it.
As u said maybe just variance and I'm still rolled for 50

How do you think they're different? Just curious.

I thought the tables were more passive then Party. So, I found it profitable to limp more.

Note- you say they're calling your cbets more... cbet less. Try small ball.

10K hands isn't much, so I wouldn't worry about it.

The games at stars seem about the same as what party was, still alot of really bad players.

I had account at both Party and Stars but mostly played $25 NL at Party. Since switching over, I'm actually doing better. In general, it *seems* like the Stars tables are maybe a little tighter overall. Still, I've not played a ton of hands at Stars yet, your YMMV...

Patient, tight-aggressive play seems to be effective and profitable.

I run like [censored] at Stars. Started off up 4 buyins then went down 8 and am stalled there. Some bad beats, some tilt, but mainly just very card dead.

I moved from Party to Stars as well. When I first moved about 2 months ago the game seemed a little looser than Party, but now I find it to be a little rockier.

Seems to me the fishiest fish are drying up a little bit. I play 50NL.
