NL .40/.80 anyone?

You guys seen the new limit at full tilt what do you guys think about it? I think this is cool, i was gonna take some shots at .5/1 with maybe 1300-1500 now i can do .40/.80 with 1000-1200 /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oh also you can buy in 200 BB deep /images/graemlins/blush.gif

.4/.8... arrghh.. Just messes the pot and bet sizes. I don't like this idea at all. 200BB buy-ins are cool though.

standard bankroll advice is 20 buyins.

new games are supposed to be "deep stacked"

so 20 buyins is $3200

you can actually play real poker over all streets if you are 200BB deep - whereas your options are reduced at 100BB cos by the time it gets to the river you don't normally have a big enough stack left behind to make big bluffs/threaten big re-raises.

200BB is hard to play well.

theres nothing stopping you buying in for 100BB but realise that deep games attract better players on average - most of the fish are going to stick with the 100BB games they know and love.
