*****Warning NL Newb********

Most of my play is STTs, but I have been dabbling in NL as of late.

Villain was 38/17 thru about 46 hands.

Should I have lead out on the flop?

Bet river?

Comments on all streets are appreciated.

i play this pretty ifferent but ur line isnt terrible. i prolly reraise this villian preflop then lead the flop.

as played i lead flop then look to check the turn.

then as played again i prolly check call the river

I think I would c/r the flop, there are two draws out there. Raise to ~8.5 here. You have one of the flops you called pre-flop to hit, insure UTG+1 folds. If he calls, the turn is do or die. Your stack will be the size of the pot so push now, since calling after checking sucks and giving a draw you are ahead of a free card sucks worse.

But check the sig before relying on my advice.

PF is fine. I'd lead flop... opponent may not c-bet because of multiple opponents and the board is draw heavy.

I RR pf quite a bit. flop is fine. turn is good. i might lead the river for 1/2 pot and fold to a raise. another option is to lead the flop.
