Gotta fire IMHO.
I would put out ~$5 and fold to a raise. If he calls the turn, I would c/c or c/f the river depending on the size of his bet and the card that hit. (other than a T)

i wouldnt bet so much on the flop ... the only hands you can figure him to call w/ here are Jx and 99-44 ...

in that case , if he has Jx ... you bet he calls ... he wont be afraid of the queen ... but if he has 99-44 .. hes going to be just as afraid of the queen as you are.

in any case id bet 1/2 - 2/3 pot on the turn ... cuz if u give up its too easy for him to bluff you off.

also had u bet smaller on the flop your bet on the turn wouldnt need to be as big.

I agree with that, and missed it in my original post. There aren't any draws on the board at the flop so I would not be PSBing it and would be a lot closer to 1/2PSB because that is enough to give overcards bad odds but keeps the pot small.

Strange enough, i decided to check.

They fired a half pot bet. I called.

River was a blank, went check check...he turned over KK?!

Whoops.

You're playing too weak if you don't raise him on the flop. Any two overcards in late position will bet there as well as any pocket pair bigger than treys.

If he had hit a jack then he would have tried to lure you in, not bet pot for the take down against an early position.

Get some chips and if you are reraised then get out.

Well, i'm not exactly sure what this means, but i did bet the flop. I bet the pot on the flop.

Sry mate, i completely misread the history, i think you played it fine, but depending on the player, you could be beat on the river, i would check/fold.
