Let me guess, you got stacked by AA or KK here (possibly QQ)?

Without reads with pf reraise makes me think he has AA, KK, QQ or posiblly AK (some people also reraise pf with AQ). Given this you just have the odds to call for set value (you are paying $3 to potentially win ~ $36, which is 12 to 1).

However when you miss flopping your set, c/r all in here is awfull, given that his pf raise indicated a big pair. Even A:club K/images/graemlins/club.gif should probably call this all in, because with 2 over cards and the nut flush draw his chances of winning are good.

I think you very rarely have the best hand here unless the guy is a big LAG. I probably fold this flop, or bet about $9 and fold to a raise / c/f turn UI if called.

Don't worry if you did get stacked here. I've been stack when I've had pocket tens as an overpair to the flop. I think this is a big leak of mine, and I'm working on never getting stacked with anything less than kings.

What if I call the flop and push on the turn assuming he's a LAG? Is that a good option? Is it almost never correct to c/r all in on the flop like this?

Unless I have some read, I agree with the other poster, QQ+ or AK, AQs is the range I put the pre-flop raiser on. There are 6 AA, 6 KK, 6 QQ, 16 AK and 4 AQs. You are ahead of 15 of the AK and 3 of the AQs, total 18. You are behind 20 hands, as you are not even favored against AK or AQ of /images/graemlins/club.gifs W/O a lag read, I fold the flop, but I admit to having weak tendancies. C/R all in is bad however because those 18 hands you beat all fold now and the 20 hands you are behind are the only ones that call. I think I either c/f or I may donk into the PFR on this flop, maybe 2/3PSB and fold to a re-raise or c/f a non-J turn. Definitely when the club hits the turn I am not putting more money in.
