I haven't seen either Villain get out of line postflop. PF raiser seemed to raise a bit light, but I haven't seen him show much down.

I think the turn raise is a little large. Raising to the size of the pot ($1) should have the same effect - folding out overcards that UTG could be cbetting with and giving flush draws bad odds to call.

his bet to 1.4 is a pot sized bet. I think your raise is better than raising to $1 because villian would only have to call 0.60 for a $2 pot. I like your play and mix these kinds of plays in once in a while if I know my villian seems smart.

edit: errr 1.4 isn't even a PSB but I still think it is big enough to get the job done.

you played this surprisingly well for 10nl ... i didnt know players at that level were capable of making moves like this. however your bet is a bit too big and i might think you were bluffing and call you w/ a pair ... or move u in w/ nothing just cuz your bet is so big. but then again ... it might be fine since we never really know how players at 10nl are really going to react anyway so best to scare them. i think it goes either way.

I like what you are trying to do, just not at this level. The average donk here is looking for reasons to call flops like this even to raises and that board has enough draws. If it was HU maybe, but not 3way. Your line will certainly work at times but my gut tells me that in the long run you will have to put too many chips in to make it +EV vs most non-thinking players.

My point was I think whether he bets $1 or $1.4 he probably achieves the same reaction from villian, so why risk $0.4 extra.
