Would he call with a 5 preflop to play the rest of the hand OOP? This seems like JJ-99 to me that he was unwilling to 3-bet preflop. His turn push doesn't indicate that he wants maximum value - he wants you to fold.

The pot has more money in it than what hero has left in his stack, villains bet is standard.

I would have shoved the flop on such a drawy board, as played i would fold the turn, every draw just got there and u only beat 88 - QQ.
