i think a flat out cont. bet on the flop woulda been better, as played i think i would fold, all dependent on a good read the way you played it, he could have a mid pair, or just straight draw, but its hard to tell.

Doesnt look like this is gonna have much convo but he did end up having 98 suited for the straight draw, i figured he would bet a pair of 10 or jack, and we know that duece didnt help him.
