View Full Version : Anyone tried Empire casino?

Just noticed it on CBW...

100% to $200, BJ allowed...looks like a really good bonus.

Wanted to know if anyone has tried Empire yet? What kind of experiences you had, etc.

Thanks

Ive done it, great casino.

Its a fully cashable 100% upto $200 bonus with a WR of $4000.

The bonues clears in $0.10 for every $2 you bet so its clearing from your bonus to cash all the time and it shows at the bottom of the screen so you always know where you are. Im also pretty sure you can withdraw your cash balance at any time (although im not 100% sure about this). The cashier/casino/free money account thing is a little confusing at first but its quite a good idea when you get used to it. The software is similar to CasinoEuro but not quite as fast, but its pretty good. I finished at $550'odd from my $200 deposit and I received it within 24 hours to my Neteller. The CS was also very good when I had a query at the start.

This is a must do casino in my opinion.

Cheers,

Matt.

Thanks Matt

Maybe you could explain the confusion about the cashier/casino/free money accounts?

BTW, I actually saw this on CBP, not CBW (sorry Halo...)

I'm in the process of clearing this. It does seem good; however, a few minor negatives:
1. No doubling except on 9's, 10's, 11's. This eliminates those juicy Ax doubles when dealer has 3-4-5-6 showing.
2. No surrender
3. It's really kinda slow, especially when the dealer has a face card. It takes forever for the lady to say, "The dealer does NOT have blackjack."

But, the way the bonus is clearing, at a nickel per 1$ bet, does seem reasonable and easy to track.

Thanks for the HU OP, but I just wasted a couple hours of my life.

Up 180 with just 1000 left to go..things were looking good, until I lost every hand from there on out and finished up $20 bux. Every 19 or 20 was one uppped by the dealer, and the only aces I saw were on the dealers side.

And [censored] christ the dealers "Checking for Blackjack" [censored]. At least the software isn't the slowest out there, but pretty slow.

Fortunately you can still hit on split aces (no resplitting anywhere, however), and you can actually double on 9-11 after a split. (Actually, I think you may be able to double on ANY two after a split, but I may recall incorrectly.) WOO's calculator gives this variety a HA of 0.39%. Standing on any 17 really makes the most difference towards a smaller HA.

Sorry to hear it didnt go so well Dave...

But its $20 you didnt have to begin with...that's $10/hour...sorta like working at regular crappy job /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Oh, the software seems to be Future Bet, but fortunately their cashier processer doesn't appear to be. (FB as a processor has had a lot of shady business going on with delayed withdrawals on poker sites.)

I'm on it right now, I'm even after about 45% been under for about 90% of the time and over up to 28$ at best. Don't link the software much I lost on my doubles about 70% of time and ten vs 12-13-14-15-16 is too often seen IMO. I'm still unsure if I am going to complete the full bonus and simply withdraw my deposit.

Apparently I was imaginging things when I said there was a 24 hour waiting period on your pin.

Heres what the cashier says:

* Your unique PIN is required to withdraw any money from your account. You should have received your PIN number via your registered email address after your first deposit. If you have lost your PIN number, please contact Customer Service and a new PIN number will be issued and emailed to you immediately.

You can get your PIN over livechat if you'd like. It takes a few minutes.

Are you sure you can get your PIN via live chat? I was emailed this:

Once you have deposited money, we will mail you your PIN number the next business day. This number is required for all of your account withdrawals and provides you with the maximum in account and player security. Please ensure that your mailing address on your account is correct as all PIN numbers are mailed to you via regular mail.

Can somebody explain to me how does this kind of bonus works?

When will the money credit to you? They said 19:1 ratio, so is it mean that if I start with 200, bet 20, lost, I should have 181 instead of 180? or if I start with 200, bet 20, win, I should have 221 instead of 220?

That's the way I see how it works, however, I'm not getting the bonus credit after wager about 100 bucks, and I'm not seeing any free money bonus..

Somebody please explain to me.

Yes, that's how it works. Next to your real balance there's a "free balance" that starts at $200. You have to transfer the free money to the casino before you start playing.

They're a brand new casino, and CBP reported no problems with the Casino when trying it out. Its only been about half a day since I requested my cashout. Ill update when I get it.

Also, sorry about getting the PIN info all screwed up, but I definately did get mine thru live chat. First site Ive ever known that would let you do that, so it may have been a mistake on Charlenes part.

Futurebet software... brings spycasino.biz to mind. Those of you who frequented bonuswhores.com a year ago know what I talk about. =) I think they are still blacklisted at CM.

I made a quick google for futurebet and found many threads both from CM and 2+2 about slow/no payments from this group. It seems like you eventually get paid but it can take a while...

I will wait and see if you guys get paid fairly fast. Whatever you do though.. don't win big! According to moste of the threads I found big winners will have to wait months.. :/

FWIW, my experience has been that 2 days would be an extremely quick cash-out from an online casino. 3-4 days is more average. For whatever reason, online casinos are much slower at cash-outs than online poker rooms.

matt85
11-13-2006, 10:08 AM
Hello.

To clarify a few things:

1. When you deposit $200 you get $200 'free money' credited to your account. You go to the cashier and make sure you transfer the $200 cash AND the $200 free money to your casino account. This is obviously two seperate transfers. Dont worry this only takes 30 seconds or so.

2. When you go to BJ you have $200 cash and $200 free money to use, which is shown at the bottom of the screen. For every $1 you bet $0.05 will be taken off the free money and added on to your cash balance, so the bonus is clearing until the free moneu is down to $0.00

3. If you dont receive your PIN via email you can request it in live support and they should give you it. They gave it to me no problems, just a couple of security questions.

4. My cashout was received in 24 hours absolutely no fuss at all.

5. The BJ has slightly different rules to most but I had a decent run here so I cant imagine that it is too high.

Based on my experiences I would still insist this is a must play.

Cheers,

Matt.

Just an update from my experience with Empire:

Just finished the WR...ran well for the most part, finished +539.

Kinda slow software, and sorta annoying waiting for the dealer everytime they got paint or an ace to see if they had BJ, but again I ran well, so it didnt seem too bad... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Did not receive my PIN through email, called CS and they gave it to me over the phone after a couple of security questions. Had an issue with trying to play from work yesterday, but the CS rep was very helpful trying to work around what was obivously a problem on my end.

Cashed out to Neteller, and am waiting now. The site says 24-48 hours to be credited.

So up to now, its been nothing but positive for me.

FWIW

Just to let folks know, I was grinding away yesterday and things were fine. Today, things have ground to an unbearable slowness. 3 and 4 second delays sometimes to get your next card. If it doesn't improve, I'll be cashing out early, if that's possible...

I always play 'slightly progressive'.

For this one, that strategy is worse than usual because if you get busted you cannot play with the 'free/bonus money'.

Busted out with $40 of bonus money to go.

Bank showing a 5 one time and a 6 the other time and managed to get 21 both times.

This software seems to hate people when they get close to finishing their W.R.

I did it a second time tonight for my sis and I was up 230 with 1000 left to wager and ended up +125 when I was done flatbetting $5 1 handed. Second time now I have gotten hammered at the end. Ill be doing this one for my mom soon as well. Maybe third time is the charm..?

Dave - happened to me as well

With $60 left in the free money, my actual money stood at $590 (+$390)

Ended up at $419 ... loss of $171 in the last third of the WR /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Still a nice profit though .... if I get paid /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Approx.. 160 for bacarrat.. 180 for BJ

Wagering requirement * (House Edge or element of risk) = Expected loss

Get the house edge from: http://wizardofodds.com/gambling/houseadv.html

[/ QUOTE ]

Does the 160 value for Baccarat consider the commission involved?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yup I think so. Baccarat with a 5% commision has a 1.06% house edge & baccarat with a 4% commision has a 0.6% house edge.

I did ok on this one, but I must say.. they have strange rules .. or at least I find them strange.
You are only allowed to double on 9,10,11.. fine.. that's common. You are not allowed to double on soft 13, but if you get AA you can split it and if you get soft 13 on one of the hands you are both allowed to hit again after split aces (not very common) but more confusing.. NOW you can double on soft 13...? So no double on a "regular" s13 but fine after split...?!

I usually play the rules where you can double on anything and not hit after split aces so perhaps these rules are not that strange or what do you guiys say about it?

I agree the rules were slightly different than normal but had no big issues with them. And I believe that dealer stands on all 17s there. The biggest problem I've had so far (and it's very minor) is that it's too easy to accidently hit on 20. Every other site I've played on, if you accidently hit on a 20 they ask you if you're sure since it's an obvious mistake. At Empire they just flip the next card. Not a big deal and only a problem if you actually screw up, but I think it should probably be changed.

Yeah, and I think most casinos ask if you really want to stand on 9 and less..? Again.. if you misclick it's your own fault.. I did it only once, but again... it's an obvious mistake.

You should get your cashout around the 48 hour mark. Give or take 12 hours either way though.

I just deposited $200 but only $100 of free money showed up. I chatted with support about this. The guy says, "Oh I see on the website that it says 100% bonus." (long pause) "Actually the maximum bonus is $100. They haven't updated the website yet." So I gave him hell, hoping he would just dredit me the other $100. Then he says he's going to "escalate" this matter and that they would contact me.
Sketchy.

Just talked to Andrew at Live Chat about why it still said 100% up to $200 all over the site.. and also when exactly the ratio would change. As we spoke the site was updated to show 100% up to $100. So for another 25h or so it's a 100/100/2000 and then it's a 100/100/4000. Still pretty decent but why wager 2000 extra if you don't have to.. =)

What you guys talking about? It was the best bonus out there now for US players, the software is slow, but nothing bad about it, service is good, cashout is fast, everything is great.

Make 150 in 2 hours or so, how can you complaint? Well, only if did it couple days earlier.

Thanks again to whoever found this one. Hit a cold streak but it was followed by a red hot streak. Finished WR at $950 and was so hot I decided I'd either finish up at $900 or $1,000. Will be cashing outo $1,004 baby. And I almost kept playing since I was so hot but I didn't want to regret it.

Well, first time around I screwed up the bonus and didn't transfer it so I was playing without the bonus. Got on a hot streak then and worked it up to $570 with mostly $5 a hand, three handed (but I started at $2 or $3 and only increased as I won).

Once I got the bonus I started $2 a hand again not wanting to blow the $370 profit I already had. Spun my wheels between $500-$600 for a while and started winning and went three handed. Every time I made a little I'd up my bets. Went to $5, then $10, and by the end I was playing $15 a hand three handed and just on fire. I've won similar amounts on 1 or 2 occasions before but $800 is definitely huge for me, especially considering that I was on the worst gambling streak of my life (only poker and sports though) before hitting this casino.

The thing I've found about casinos is that once you start winning you're more willing to lose, which sometimes equals busto but sometimes equals huge wins. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Another update:

Got my money in Neteller this evening. ~48 hours, as was stated in the cashier...

I also noticed that ppl have gotten the email about changing the terms tomorrow. So whoever wants to do this one, they better step on it!!! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

If CS gives you the business about the terms already having been changed, I would copy/paste the email that's already in this thread, and take a screen shot of the original bonus offer(if its still there) & send them that. It clearly states in the email that you have until midnight tomorrow before the changes take effect.

I also want to respond to whoever thinks that putting this bonus information out on a public forum is wrong.

Ive actually had a similar discussion with another person on BW a while back (and who has made a couple of posts in this very thread).

People helped me out when I started doing casinos, and I like to help others out in return. If that ruins a bonus, so be it...but there will be others...I think that's why forums like this one exist...to provide information...and let each person decide for themselves whether they want to use the information, or if they dont...

I now jump off my soapbox... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I did it under the 100% to $100 offer. Ended up with a profit of $131 and the cashout to Neteller took 20 hours.

Hurry, from midnight EST today it will take about double the wagering to clear. I did it very quickly in 10 handed jacks or better but I had to get lucky flopping a full house twice or I'd have been a loser.

Busting this bonus with five dollar hands seriously took like 20 minutes. I only cleared like $21 worth of their bonus. I'm gonna be a bad whore and just let the free money go, my luck's just been way too bad here and if I don't quit I could tilt and lose lots more.
