Maybe a call on the flop is better here? i figured this for a C-bet alot of the time

I don't see a huge range of hands being raised out of the blinds like this. I think you are a huge dog to his range.

I think this is AK/AQ alot. No?

I don't like it. You're putting in half your stack hoping that he doesn't have an overpair. With no reads... if the player isn't an idiot, you're usually only going to be called by hands that beat you. Though he could have AK (hopefully not suited because you're still the underdog) any PP he raised with is probably ahead of you.

anyone like a flat call and fold to turn bet?

Yes. The only time I play this more aggressively is with a read against a superlag/maniac.

Against most other players, I'm comfortable with playing a tiny pot here... hit set or get out. With position, call the cont bet and only bet if they check the turn.

I noticed that a lot of the time at NL50 BB raises are total BS trying to act like the hotshot not allowing a 'family pot', I would however not raise that flop, just call and reeval on the turn.

As you were first to enter the pot i raise to 2 here. I probably fold the flop without a read. Calling is an option and reevaluating on the turn is way better than raising like this.

Call the flop and fold to a turn bet or a raise from the player still to act behind you.
