Fold preflop.

Given that you called pre, the flop play is fine so long as you fold to the 4-bet.

Pre-flop I would be inclined to raise to $2.5 since there is a poster and everyone has a good sized stack so I don't lose my implied odds if I hit hand.
On the flop I bet the full pot there is a made hand possible and two types of draws. It is unlikely that your hand will get better, so get your money in now. His first reraise the pot is $5.5, so his call makes it $8 and he is raising $4.50 into an $8 pot. You call that 4.50 making the pot 12.50 and only raise it another $8. I 3bet the flop for 12.50 so my 3bet would be a raise to ~20. As played, he calls that 8, making the pot 28.5 then raises all in 34.5. You are calling 34.5 into a $52 pot and I think w/o a read I am folding to the 4 bet because I know longer thing he is on a draw and is on a set or straight now. I need a better read to call all-in with those odds.

This is a good time to invoke Doyle, dont go broke in an unraised pot. You are beat by a set/str8 on that 4 bet.

Arrrrgggghhhhhhh Limping Preflop isnt wrong...... This raise or fold crap is exactly that....

The problem is that OP has Flopped a great hand with a suited Ace and doesnt know how to play it....

When you play these types of hands this is the kind of flop you want... if you choose to play these hands then you need the stones to follow up you pf decision to call with the hand... youve hit a flop hard with several draws out there....

So you decision IMO here is to either....

1. Call the first reraise and push a blank turn (ie no diamond or straight card) or

2. 3bet all in and protect your hand/represent a FD...

33/44/25 and A4 has you beat right now AA too but its unlikely since there was no pf raise... but your more likely to see AJ A10 A9 A8 and the like.... you cant be scared of 5 hands.

You play SSC and the like these are the flops you dream of..

I like the limp preflop dont worry about that... just follow your actions through on the flop when you hit this hard..

So fold preflop (I love my suited aces),
raise more on the flop and if reraised, fold.

Got it.

Thanks a lot!

I'd probably call the raise then check push a safe turn.

Yeah I don't play suited aces out of position. UTG+1 I never limp, cause I only play KJo and better. Maybe QJs.

lol and thats 6 max.

I think it is here because it will let an unknown player play any two with position on you. Because of the poster I advocate raising. Whether I limp/raise/fold depends on the player types at the table not on any "always do it this way is right and other ways are wrong" rule.

limping PF isn't wrong, but unless your table is super fishy playing A3s from EP is wrong, regardless of a raise or a limp.

As you played it though, this is again a tough spot, MP3s range is huge since he is a poster things like K4d, 56d, 52, 33, or 44 aswell. I'd probably call his flop raise and re-evaluate on the turn, as played I would call.

I disagree I often limp with Suited Aces in EP and It does me no harm /images/graemlins/smile.gif
