Looking at the bonus whores chart it seems like with rakeback and bonus, a move to 2/4 could be quite lucrative, assuming the play isn't too much toucher.

Any words of wisdom?

Thanks and read this (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=7995009&an=0&page=0#Post 7995009) thread.

The problem is the limited number of $2/4 games available - usually around 4 or 5. I typically fire up a few 1/2 games, then jump on a 2/4 when it becomes available. Overall play is close to the same. Perhaps a little more aggression.

Thanks, I have been playing one SH table at a time lately, so I am hoping for an increased clearance rate, and increased RB.

Not as lucrative as you might think due to the pretty high rake at 2/4 as compared to 1/2 and 3/6.

Hmm. I better do the math on that. In your opinion, is the additional rake enough that 2/4 should just be blown off? In other words, the additional RB and clearance rate do not justify playing with the additional rake?

Thanks.

paying a higher percentage of rake overall to get more RB doesn't make any sense, because you're still giving more money back to the site in the long run.

my recent AP full ring data (2-4K hands at each limit):
1/2 - 3.73% avg rake
2/4 - 4.28%
3/6 - 3.93%

in comparison:
Poker Stars 2/4 FR - 2.78%
Full Tilt 2/4 FR - 2.71%

this is why most AP players jump from 1/2 to 3/6.

Are those numbers including bonuses? Pretty dramatic difference!

Thanks.
