No reads, just sat down.

Raise here and if so how much or call and see what turn brings?

Raise to something like $10 - $13 is the standard play IMO.

Tempting to try to get 3 villians to the turn here with a call, but any spade is going to kill the action.

raise. I'd bump it up to $9 or $10.

Ok, villain has $42 behind and we want it all.

With a reraise to $8 on the flop, there would be $19 in the pot (villain has $37 behind)

A 3/4 size ($14) on the turn would make a $47-pot (villain has $23 behind)

A 1/2 size (about $23) on the river would make the pot $93 (all in for villain)

To make it easier at the table: divide the stack by 6;
1/6 * effective stack on flop
2/6 * effective stack on turn
3/6 * effective stack on river

Calling would be horrific.

I think you need to pump this a bit higher than $10. There are two other villains still in the hand, and a spade draw is very likely. CO for example will get good odds to call with his draw if you raise to any amount and UTG only calls. So you want this amount to be as high as possible. Preferably you want to get all in on the flop.

Raise to at least $16 which is about a pot sized raise. If they fold, then, they didnt have anything anyway. If UTG has AK he will push /images/graemlins/smile.gif

^^^ Agree with this - I'm not making it much less than pot with the flush draw out there and two opponents who like their hands - if UTG calls, CO is getting decent odds to call for his flush even with a PSR.

We only need one caller to get it AI by the river - two makes for an easy turn push, and we'd be getting odds to fill up even on a spade turn (assuming a spade doesn't kill our action).

Thanks dude, this is a nice rule of thumb. I've used another one: 1/3 if you wan't to get in on the next street and 1/9 if you wan't it in after two streets.
