PF raise 3.5x BB vs 4x BB, which and why?

I usually keep my PF raises when first in 4x the BB but others here are 3.5x BB. Just wondering, any significant differences long term or not really?

the people using 3.5 are using the pot button, 4x is fine till you get to 200 imo where $7 is the standard.

The amount you raise is dependant on alot of factors, generally you should raise enough to get the job done. That could be 2.5bb or 7bb depending on the table. The live games I play, my standard raise is 6-8bb while online it's usually 3-4, depending on position assuming I am opening.

I like 4.5x BB because it looks nice. At 0.10 for the big blind it seems to be just the size that makes people think about calling from the blinds (0.40 would be only 0.30 for BB to call).
