Sixth hand at the table. I've only seen the previous hand, where MP minraised AA preflop. I assume shorty has a pretty wide pushing range here, so I want to take a coinflip with good pot odds.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com (http://www.internettexasholdem.com)

CO ($29.40)
Button ($21.65)
SB ($7.15)
BB ($36.55)
Hero ($49.50)
MP ($29.35)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, MP calls $2, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $7.15</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to how much?</font> (MP left to act with $27 behind).

If I raise, I shove. Which is what I usually do here.

I think this might be an obvious Iso and he might call you with hands like AQ or AJ, I dont mind just smooth calling, I think that he will fold to your reraise just as likely that he will fold to the intial raise.

Not necessarily because we were first to raise. Plus, we want AQ/AJ calling.

I noticed that most players who want people to stay in will "just call" and people who have not that great of a hand Isolate frequently.
I would probably call him and if my A Q are live cards I would liky my hand better than 8's vs two players.

You're often better off with the other player in the pot for a side pot. This isn't a tourney, I don't see the need to isolate.
