Live .25/.5 game crazy thing happens. Someone pushes all in on the turn with TPWK and is called by someone with the made flush already. Pusher is drawing dead. river comes out a second ace of spades. the card that came out last did not help to make the players hand win, but the other ace, which could just as easily be counted as the extra, gave him the flush in the first place. What exactly is the call on how to split the pot up here?

I think you should take this to Home Poker (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=home).
Not sure what the correct ruling is. I think the second ace of spades should be discarded (as though it was a scrap of paper, it has no purpose in the deck), and another rivercard should be drawn.

I would probably split the pot between all players left in the pot and then give a good kick on the butt to the one who is responsible for the deck.

Use the entire pot to buy beers, consume immediately, resume play.

Pretty sure the hand is over and each player is returned whatever money they put in the pot and the next hand is dealt.

I was interested in what would be the 'official' ruling here, and looked it up in Robert's Rules.

[ QUOTE ]
4. If two cards of the same rank and suit are found, all action is void, and all chips in the pot are returned to the players who wagered them.
