Villan is 23/11/0 over 50 hands

I elected to just call his pre flop reraise rather than repop because ha had not been splashing around. I wanted to see the flop without an ace....well got what I wanted.

On the flop, trying to keep the pot small...

Without a conclusive read/history with a player what is your default here?

i dont think calling his 3bet pf is a mistake .. i like to make that play occasionally when i have a good feeling im up against 1010-qq ... check on the flop is fine to let him c-bet, but at that point you need to put him on a hand and make a decision to either check raise flop or flat call flop and lead turn. i think the check on the turn is a bad idea since it makes it a lot harder to put him on a hand.

as played move in on turn ... but id definitely have lead the turn for like 20.

If we have a hand as good as this one, what needs to happen before we lay it down?
You say: ace on the flop, turn or river. Neither flop nor turn had an ace, so there's not a reason for a fold.

Still we could be up against aces all along. That's a good reason to reraise in the early rounds (=cheaper).

As played, we almost have to call AI in the dark.
It's probably a classic: AA vs KK. The zero in his stats (aggression factor, right?) plus his action says so.

I would probably cry and call and hope for QQ.

Was it Sklansky who said: calling poker is losing poker? In other words: raise more often!

c/r all in on the flop. 4-betting PF certainly has its merits.

given how we got there, I c/r ai on the turn.
