Villain seems LAGgy. Something about his line just made it seem like he really wanted me to fold. he bet pretty quickly on all streets if that matters. I should've just c-bet, I rarely don't but as played what do you guys think of the hand? Fold any where? Raise anywhere?

I would probably fold to his flop bet. However, I admit that I am easily frightened at times.

this is obvious fold on flop ... 8910 ... and you have 77? there are really only 3 cards in the deck that youd want to see (6c6d6s), and even then JQ still crushes you.

and no you shouldnt c-bet this ... especially OOP

your hand looks a lot better than it actually is, yeah you have a pair and an OESD but what do you beat? even the worst players arent bluffing at this flop, especially with the turn.

i disagree in that i think many laggish villains will bet this flop after hero checks

Check raise flop please. Your draw has little to no value. Pretty sure he can fold on a jack river, so only a 6 gives you a "hidden" hand (BS). If you hit your 7 there's 4 to a straight on board. The question is do you want to bluff.

I don't see what showdown value this hand has.

BTW Its really easy for anyone to adjust to check calling three streets with an underpair to the board :/

edit: sorry, check raise flop or bet out. Whichever is your preference.

I'd definitely cbet that flop. I might fold or push if played back but you gotta lead here.

I'd pot the flop myself. I don't like your c/c flop check turn line. If villains IQ is above a squirrels he'll fire a 2nd barrel with any two. As played on flop I'd probably lead turn for 9 and fold to a raise.

As played to the river, do you really have to ask what to do here?
