Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
6 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $24.50
Hero: $39
CO: $21.90
Button: $17.25
SB: $25
BB: $18

Villain has been fairly tight. Probably around 22% VPIP. I've seen very little of his showdowns. He has folded quite a bit to my cb's and sb steals. I haven't been super TAG, just aggressive. He has also seen me show down legitimate hands if he was paying attention. I'm inclined to respect his aggression but his raise was basically a miniraise. What's my line here?

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif J/images/graemlins/heart.gif
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif J/images/graemlins/spade.gif 2/images/graemlins/club.gif ($4, 4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $3.5, CO raises to $8, 2 folds, Hero ???

typically I'll call and reeval. turn, but based on reads, I might just give it up to him this time.

At 25nl, Hero pushes. IMO he's more likely to have KJ,QJ,JT, or a nice draw than he is to have 66/22.

i agree with procrast. at 25NL even tight players will call with far worse hands.

I do not know the hand ranges at 25nl. But if he is a solid tight player, I think folding the flop is probably best.

Smells like KQ or AK of spades, maybe JJ.
KQ is most likely cause I would assume JJ and AK might reraise PF.

generally id agree with orange...

you really just have to decide whether he makes that play with a flush draw, a weaker jack, or a set. in my experience id generally lay this down just because if we call his re-raise there isnt one card that comes that can make our situation any better on the turn... if an ace comes and he has a weaker jack it might scare him and stop him from betting ... but if an ace comes and he has a set you will have a much more difficult lay down.
if another jack comes and he has a set you are in big trouble ...
if any spade comes you are in big trouble ...

i really just dont like any situation we face there, and thats why id lean towards folding ... but if i saw him make the same play again id probly move in on him.
