Stack sizes:
UTG: $4.40
UTG+1: $11.35
Hero: $11.55
Button: $12.55
SB: $2
BB: $10

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A/images/graemlins/club.gif K/images/graemlins/heart.gif
UTG calls, UTG+1 raises to $0.45, Hero raises to $1.6, Button folds, SB raises all-in $2, BB folds,
UTG calls, UTG+1 raises all-in $11.35, Hero folds
So here i am with AK in the CO and UTG limps in and UTG+1 raises a pot sized bet. I 3-bet the pot back and the SB goes all in for $2. The original limper calls the $2 (with only $2.20 behind) then it gets back around to the first raiser and he pushed all in. I can only assume that UTG is going to call (unless he plans to put half his stack in and fold) If i call here, if ANYONE has a pair here, and ANYONE has one of my aces or kings, i'm behind.

If the big stack has any pair, and either of the short stacks turn over ANY A or K, i'm behind.

The ONLY hands that i could beat is;
-if no one had a pair OR
-if someone DOES has a pair, i have to have 3 clean As and 3 clean Ks.

Easy fold?

It looks like pretty sound advice. Especially since utg+1 probably isn't jamming to isolate the two shorties.

you answered your own question bud ... theres not many hands u can beat, especially 3 way. you are likely dominated here, at best u might have 3 outs to an ace.

Very hard, seems to me UTG probably has the AK himself. Most times if he has AA then he probably raises to 4 or 5 and then shoves on the flop.

I like your reasoning here, Vorshot, and would do the same in this case. Too many times you're way behind with this much action pre flop. It can be frustrating to see these idiotic hands being played by your opponents, but thats why you're at the table. Since you play better hands than them you will get the dollars in the long run. I hope you sat back and licked your chops when you saw them playing such terrible cards, because dinnner is abouut to be served!!!!!

Good fold, I agree. You rarely see mid pairs in a raising war. In the middle of a raising war I usually only stay in with AA,KK,AKs.

Yeah, i make that fold every day...i just hated seeing the results...mostly because i woulda taken 3 people's stack in one hand. Sure, a couple of them were not full buyins...but wouldn't that have been awesome? To destroy almost the whole table in one hand?
