You're playing 50NL already? Weren't you just playing 10NL a month or two ago?

I'd bet $10 on the flop. Push the turn.

Yeh NL$10 whenever it was, well im between NL$25 and NL$100, whichever i feel like playing depending how focused i am.

I raised to 20, he pushed - Were calling extra 15 easy yep?

I'm interested to see how the discussion develops on this hand as I get stacked constantly on this sort of hand.

if you lost to AQ i have compassion for you, because it happened to me earlier. If you lost to a set i think you played it wrong.

But yeah, 20 and call push is probably fine.

For those advocating a push, villain is 100 bb deep while hero is very deep, is pushing still standard? Are we so sure this is a flush draw since villain is a pretty good TAG. I doubt villain calls preflop raise with ATsooted of diamond or less, and AJ or AQ sooted is very likely. any sooted Queen hand also, but a flush draw of diamond is there. So is a flush draw of spade, but that is played kind of wierd and the Ace of spade is on the board. Although I doubt villain calls a set or 2 pair on that kind of board. Have you seen villain play draws or sets, because a TAG usually doesn't bet 8 into 26, it's just asking for a raise.

Does anyone call turn and re evaulate on river? We are in position and let villain bluff a miss draw. Did villain already price himself out with the flop call? I don't know.

I think though a flush draw is more likely than 2 pair or set so pushing is pretty good.

I think he could see him definitely having AK or AJ of diamonds, KJ or KQ of spades. I think it's a weird way to play a set, as the only likely set would be 22 and I think he's raise on the flop with that. I feel strongly like he's drawing. Once you raise his $8 bet, he has to put the rest in if he wants to continue drawing.

Results please? Even though we don't care abotu the result, we want to know how likely villain does x with what, and if we never know the results, we never know how often certain things happen.

You've confused me, how do you play it vs AQ and how do you play VS a set LOL?

Yeah AQ beat me /images/graemlins/laugh.gif Not sure if i shoulda smooth called flop sometimes.

Felt bit weak since FD was out there and he bet exactly 1/3rd to give 4:1.

yeah, they're both the same. One is just better because it happened to me and i dont make bad plays.

I think you played it fine. There are many hands he could have had there that you beat.

I actually find that the check-call+lead line is pretty strong. It should be read nearly the same as a flop check-raise, I believe.
