These are the ones i have heard of thus far.

HOH 3
Miller and Sklansky's NL book
Ciaffone's NL book
Negreunu's Book
Roy Cooke's Real Poker 3 (RP 4 will be out sometime after that but not sure if it is this year.)
Rolf Slotbloom's book on drawing hands
I have also heard that Raymer has a book coming out, but I'm not exactly sure when that will be.

I think I might have to quit playing poker in order to have time to read all of these /images/graemlins/wink.gif

WHat about Raymers book? Is that on permanent hiatus? I remember last spring him saying that he was hoping he would have it finished by summer, but have not heard a peep about it since.

Online King : A World Series Poker Champion's Guide to Mastering Internet Poker -- by Scott Fischman (Paperback--June 13, 2006)

Phil Gordon's Little Blue Book : Teachings and Hand Analysis in No Limit Texas Hold'em
by Phil Gordon (Hardcover - October 3, 2006)

The pre order price on each of these books on amazon is about $14.00 each, so I will definitely get both of these. Nice deal.

I'm not exactly sure what it will be like, but Fischman appears to genuinely want to help other players. If the book is like his Cardplayer articles, it should be a solid book for Internet poker. It is reported to be 256 pages long and published from ESPN.

I vaguely remember hearing of this a few months ago I think but had completely forgotted about it.

Who's the writer? Any other details (some sort of preview or summary available)?

Just the title alone piques my interest.

William Chen and Jarod Ankerman, two RPG game theory maths and poker gurus.

I think one of them is the number #1 on Sklansky's smartest 10 poker players.

He did not consider himself (or Jerrod Ankenmann, among others). The list is at http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/show...o=14&fpart= (http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=&Number=1435626&page=0&vi ew=&sb=5&o=14&fpart=)

There are also Sklansky's notes on the list and other comments. If you don't care about those, here is the list by itself.

Ten Smartest Poker Players:

1. William Chen
2. Mark Weitzman
3. Howard Lederer
4. Jim Geary
5. Chris Ferguson
6. Ed Miller
7. Tom Weideman
8. Jimmy Warren
9. Barry Greenstein
10. Paul Phillips

Wasn't it Johnny Chan who said in his interview, that he doesn't want to give out his secrets. He tells them to the players he coaches, but tells them not to reveal them to others. Understandable, but I have my doubts on his book anyway.

How about Helmuth? Anything coming out this year? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

But I'd really like to see Howard Lederer to write something. Any info if he's planning a book?
