Your thoughts on the river fold? Am I a coward (if so, please berate me) or was that a smart laydown given the board?

Wishful thinking has me thinking he's an idiot trying to push with Ace high (AK?), but that turn minraise is nasty. You should probaly drop it on the turn, but as played calling might not be that bad; you have decent odds here.

You could have reraised AI on the turn. He maybe playing an overpair lower than yours or AT.

I think you need to push turn or call river. Calling turn to fold river for half a pot bet after putting in most of your stack is dumb IMO.

In my experience, check minraise turn is always a huge hand. AA or KK are close to my limit as to what I call or go all in with. Since the 4 paired its probably an OK call, since the guy may have top two and not realize your hands better.

Be useful to know how often he calls, how aggressive he is, or how you may be viewed....
