Villian is a 95/23/3 crazy lag. Likes to bet a lot, but will give up if raised (he donked me on an ace high flop, I raised with A9s or somethin and he folded).

In other words, he's a lag, not lagtard. My stats are 19/16/3 or somethin. Warning tho, only 20 hands :/.

outlagging a lag is generally a bad idea, if you were going to raise a street I would probably raise the <1/2 psb on the turn.

Also, don't know how the A9 hand worked out, but the best way to play it may have been calling all 3 streets (esp. against a lag, although I would do this against a tag too).

So if he calls with K high or better, he wins. You are betting $5 to win 3.65 ($3.50 after the drop) so you have get him to fold 59% of the time just to break even. You raised preflop, he called. OTF you didn't cbet HU acting after him why? If I was going to try and bluff it would be on the turn since actually, the $0.50 you call with there is part of your bluff, you are actually putting in $5.50 to win $3.00 so we are really closer to needing him fold 65% of the time just to break even. If you think he is bluffing, take him on at the turn. Raise to $2 to try and win $1.65 right there, he needs to fold the turn only 55% of the time time to make that a break even play and if he re-pops you there or leads into you on the river you lost less. If he calls and checks the river, then you have a decision if you want to bluff. FWIW I cannot remember the last time I bluffed at this low stakes. If he has a piece of the board, the $ value is small to call, even if the odds are big.

A bluff like this at these stakes is just dumb. If he really is playing like a maniac who cares, with any of these cards he is a winner:
2, 3, 5, 7, 8, q, k, a

If you're going to bluff.. its the flop.

Betting the turn is completely unconvincing.

C-bet the flop. If he calls, you're done.

Fold preflop and wait for a better hand to stack him with, if he is so loose you'll most def. get another shot later on.

IMO he always calls a flop bet to outlag later. Its the second bet that wins.

I rep a flush this way, nothing raises the turn. He didn't seem lagtardy either, but only 20 hands.

In the end I didn't really like the bluff. Just wanted to see if anyone felt differently.

Good call on the A9 hand. I raised his flop lead and he dropped his hand nice and early.

He folded. You know, since he plays 95% of his hands, and I think he bets the river with all of them, I may be getting close to 60%. Variance is a bitch tho.

gross. If its +EV to play this guy head sup with this hand, then I'm going to take that +EV. This isn't a tournament.
