In part 1 a ($50 6max) a reasonably solid TAG made it $2 UTG.

If you haven't replied there please do so now before posting in this thread.

Assume 100BB stacks.

The kind of player that calls too much preflop and folds the flop calls in the CO and you call on the button. The blinds fold.

The flop comes down K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif and the UTG TAG leads for pot.

What range of hands do you put him on now?

Same as preflop: 77+/AJ+

A good TAG pots the flop here whether he hit or not. Really doesn't narrow the range by much.

Exactly the same. A standard c-bet here means he wants to let you make a mistake by calling with a flushdraw.

He doesnt care for CO since he folds often. What is his perception of you?

If he has TT-QQ he wants to take it down or if called shut down. He prolly doesnt have KK or AA, both of these would prolly lead for 3/4 of the pot.

AJs+ is a bit agressive but it depends what is his perception of you.

KQ is possible, as well as AK.

woops, forget to check who called. Whats our image here? Does the CO calls with any decent draw or when he hits the flop in any way?

That would narrow it down a bit.

Should also add, please state the range you put him on preflop as well so we don't have to compare answers between threads (I only split it to avoid people accidently seeing part 2 and being influenced).

He's seen us get involved in a lot of pots, we're playing a TAG game but a bit looser than him, maybe near 24/16, something like that. We've not got out of line with anything so he'll at least vaguely respect our play.

24/16 begins to be a SemiLAG style.

My range in the previous thread was KQs+ AQo+ and TT+

I now give him credit for at least KQ+, AK+ and QQ+. If he has seen us playing a lot of big pots, and not afraid to get aggressive, I can put him on AdQd aswell.

CO folds too much but will call with a piece of the flop such as 2PTK, reasonable draw etc. He's bad but not a folding machine. Does this change anyone's answer?

Doesnt change my answers, us being in the hand and him giving us enough credit makes the CO only relevant if he calls / raises.

umm well this relies a ton on his read on u. obv he fires ALL flops with CO since he fold bout all the time but his read on u is the key. assuming he doesnt have a weird read id say he fires this board everytime that he opens utg.

and then obv if he thinks u r good and capable of floating and mixin it up then it will obv tighten his range a bit. but it is super read dependant imo since u describe villian as decent
