$50NL (if it matters to you).

Playing 6max. (sorry for missing this before)

A reasonably solid TAG (18/12) makes it $2 from UTG.

What range of hands do you put him on?

KQs+ AQo+, TT+

and is this 6max or full ring ?

And by solid, do you mean he takes advantage of position ? Or does he disregards position completely?

Don't play 6 max myself but would guess TT+, ATs+, AQ+. Might apply more for full ring.

98s sux imo. its straight draws lead to a lot of 2nd best straights thus isnt as valuable.

ex...
hero holds 98s

board is TJ7 rainbow. or JTQ.

both lead to bigger straights that are a big part of the ranges of normal villians calling ranges thus it is much less valuable.

well imo it isnt good enough to raise with if he is an 18 12 player. that is the reason i left it out. if i played 18 12 i deff wouldnt b raising 98s utg.

I think alot of you guys are giving an 18/12 too big a range. I cant even get a session below 20 when I try.

99+,AJ+ I dont even think an 18/12 raises UTG with KQ suited...who knows.

UTG I'd say
AJs, AQ, AK
77-AA

18 vpip narrows it down a lot IMO

Although they make up a small portion of the range, I don't think we can count out 'shania' type hands like 78s and JTs.

AK, QQ+

If he is raising any pair in any position, his pfr will be close to 18. If he is a decent tag, he is far tighter utg, then in CO and the button. He is limping 1/3 of the time, so my guess is JJ- are being limped in UTG and UTG+1. At vpip of 18, I also think he is mucking AJ- hands and most Axs hands from this position.

i do not know what a solid tag means. but it put everyody +88 +AQ

You have to consider that 12% PFR is an average and since the opponent is playing UTG it would be much less.

99+
AJs+
AQo+
KQo

that's roughly half of his average PFR%: 6.3%

Think that's too tight as my 6 max stats actually are 18/12 at the moment and I almost always raise KQs UTG, often KQo and QJs too. From UTG my stats are 9/9.

IMO with 18% Vpip he probably doesn`t raise medium to small SC and Axs UTG. I play pretty much the same and get those stats.
