Hero checks planning on folding to a bet.

Villain is 28/16.8/2.03 over 700+ hands (The hands are old as I havent seen him much recently). I'm thinking he's pretty strong here but on turn, I almost get immediate odds for calling and a bucketload of implied odds so I was wondering, do I have fold equity to CR push, should I open bet big or is this the best line to take?

I think your FE in this situation is very low. You have 14 outs (if he has a set) to what seems to be the best hand and you are getting good odds. Your draw is also disguised pretty wel. I think you played it perfect.

Isn't this a little light to be raising UTG? I fold PF.

As played, its fine.

In Hold'em poker, we sometimes vary our play.

I almost cried when he checked behind and showed 57o.

And yea, it's pretty light, but I trust my skills and read of the table and it's not my standard play. T9s is just so pretty.

Its obv villan dependant but his raise on the flop doesn't scream set to me, I think his most likely hand is somesort of one pair holding A9, 77, and sc that caught a piece of the board, possibly TT-QQ. He could have a set but usually the raise is larger to induce a push from hero with TT+.

I like the flop, you have the odds to call there.

On the turn, if my read on villan is as above, that he likes to challenge cbets, I'll check with the intention to crai. However I'd only call if i was very sure I'd get paid off when I draw out on the river.

Looks fine. Against an unknown w. those stats I think c/r all in is prolly spewing on turn as is a river lead.

Against someone you know raises flops light and is very aggressive then 3betting flop all in(when you are a little shallower stack wise) and c/r:ing all in on turn are both good options.
