So Wizard of Odds says that the Player gets a better edge, but it doesnt seem that way @ Victor Chandler...I keep losing every hand...there has got to be a different strategy in playing single deck there no? I mean, if I hold a 14 with two 7s and another 7 is in my 2nd hand, the chances of me hitting the last 7 for 21 is bad...shouldnt I stand instead of hitting if the dealer holds 7+?

Victor Chandler is rigged, so it doesn't matter whether you hit or stand. You're going to lose no matter what you do.

When in doubt stand, that way you can't bust.

If you really want to eek out a slightly better edge, look for a composition dependent basic strategy (google, wizardofodds.com, bjmath.com) for single deck blackjack. Composition Dependent means that the playing decisions take into consideration the specific cards you hold in your hand, not just the totals. Your example of 7,7 vs a dealer 10 is a stand even without having the third 7 in the other hand. CD strategies will eek out a little more edge, but is probably not worth it. But since you can have a cheat sheet while you are playing, it may be worth it... you decide.

You gotta look at the rules carefully. It's been a while since I cleared the VC bonus but I remember considering the single deck but it seemed to have special rules favouring the house which boss or crypto casinos didnt have so I just went with the normal safe 6 deck rules. Also you gotta remember that BJ has enormous standard deviation so basing anything on your results is kinda pointless.
