I have no idea what it means when a villian just calls my flop c-bet. Unless I have a draw or maybe some sort of pair I usually just check and give up the pot. But a lot of times we end up checking it down only to have the villian show some weakish hand that almost certianly would have been folded to another strong bet on the turn. With no reads and no draws do I just have to give up on called flop bets?

The only time I second barrel is with a read AND a good turn card.

If the flop comes 762 and I bet and villain calls, and the turn is an A, then I am betting again normally. Otherwise, I just give it up.
