You are getting like 1.5:1, you almost certainly have no fold equity, and a very likely holding is KJ/QJ or better.

Very very easy fold.

MP overbet pot this pot, likely because he is very afraid of the flush and straight possiblities. Assuming that he is not on the flush draw here, you have 8outs. AJ is inconsitent with villains play. Probably against Top pair or kings or queens up.

What about calling the flop here. If we are reading villains hand correctly, he'll have to fold the turn to any heat if a diamond, A, or 9 falls.

And why are you calling if you think you don't get paid off if an A falls?

Call the flop and fold UI to a reasonable turn bet. You'll stack AK here often enough if you hit your straight.
