Is my turn bet pointless? Should I always bet that flop? I sensed my oppoenent was getting a little frustrated with my button raises and I fancied the free-card rather than being check-raised, which he liked to do.

You have to c-bet that flop. I'd c-bet that flop if I raised w/ 44. I fold the river though also. You flopped a draw to the nuts, that's a super strong hand, bet.

What do you do if you CB to $3.50 and he cr you to say $13? I don't think your draw to the nuts + overpair has enough outs to push. Do you just call and see the turn? (Assume he has a full stack , and not $19).

You messed this one up.
Bet pot on flop always, that is a great board for your hand.
Semi bluff flop >>>>>> semi bluff turn

I bet the flop and take a free river if called.

1) If he has a set, we're a 3:1 dog. Not very probable unless its 22 b/c he didnt rr pf.
2) 2 pair, we're a 2:1 dog.
3) 1 pair and our A is live we're about 1:1 (actually a small dog).
4) If its a one pair hand like AQ, we're a 2:1 dog. (He would rr AJ, AQ pf a certain % of the time.

I would still push over his raise here, b/c at worst we're a 2:1 dog (assuming no set) and def have FE here. As far as he knows, we raised from the button and made a normal c-bet, our range is wide here. How would you feel on this flop if you were the villain w/ QT facing a 3-bet AI??? If he is one of these guys who constantly tries to pick off my c-bets, I love this play even more.

bet flop.. it's very good for you.

rest of the hand gets comlicated because you check behind on the flop.
