What has the better EV? JOB at 18x or BJ at 30x? I thought JOB had a HA about the same as BJ but another poster somewhere said the Intercasino HA was higher than the normal one for JOB.

Also, assuming flat bet of $5, which has the most variance?

Hope someone who is good at the sums can help.

the intercasino JoB is shortpay for quads and SF I believe. stick with BJ.

I was thinking about pontoon at 18x but I heard that the variance is large, and I'm a bit of a pansy when it comes to variance.

The shortpay for the high hands explains why the HA on Intercasino for JOB is more than on other sites.

I also read another thread about playing is on the "Slot of the Month" or something like that. The poster said it has no HA and us used as a "loss leader", so I tried it on 9000 autoclicks at 20p to mimic the bonus and it ended up with a HA of 5% so the guy was bullshitting.

Looks like I will have to learn pontoon. I wish I wasn't such a wuss.

Yes because I normally play those at low stakes and increase the number of bets. I heard minimum bet at pontoon is $5 so that is more than I normally stake, so although the EV is good I am worried about busting out.

If you are worried about busting out you wont make very much playing bonuses and it will take absolutely forever to play them.

Suck it up and bet big & in 6 months time you will be much richer....

No it resets every month. If you get 2 offers in the same month you'll have to complete both WR's though

That is true now when it's not possible to play it risk free anymore... as far as I can see it is not possible to get leftover WR with this new system? (either you bust it out, clear it or don't finish it within the month it's given)?

I think if you did play it risk free earlier and have WR leftover you will still have to play that through before you can cash out the new bonus... I see no reason for them to remove all leftover WR for all those nutters who played it risk free in the past?

I had 3 uncleared bonuses there. My account balance and withdrawal limit were $0. Last night I deposited $100, got the $100 bonus in my account, and my withdrawal limit was still 0!

So apparently if you have uncleared bonuses there, they are going to hold ANY money you deposit, up to the uncleared amount. Be warned! Can anyone else confirm this happening, or did I just hit a weird glitch.

Anyway, Pontoon was good to me yesterday and I left with $500 profit. Suck that, Intercasino.

Since it's not possible to play this risk free anymore I don't see what is strange? Apparently you had played it risk free earlier otherwise the bonuses should have been cleared when you busted out...

It's not strange that they'll hold any money you deposit until you clear previous bonuses, when they've NEVER done that before? Okay. We must have different definitions of strange.

They didn't hold the deposit because of your old chicken way of playing it risk free and making this bonus worse for all of us.. they held it beacuse of this new bonus you got for which they have changed the rules!

I didn't realize that was part of the new terms. Probably because I didn't read them. And uh, how is this bonus any worse for you in terms of EV if you've never played it risk free before? Technically it would still be the same thing to you if you always play until you've cleared it or gone busto.

This was the first casino I ever did, and I have been doing it for ~2 years. I played it risk-free for the first 6 months or something and have always been some number of months behind.

It could make sense, however, that since this is now an "ordinary" bonus that you would deposit $100 and have a w/d limit of $0 until you meet the WR and (you break even, lets say) then your w/d limit goes to $200, but that is more usual for places that put the bonus in your account on deposit.

Anyway, since you're apparently going to play through it, could you let me know what happens and whether it releases for you when you meet the WR? I'm glad they fixed this loophole, but I do not fancy playing a $12k wr for a $100 bonus.

It cleared in $100 increments for me. So they WERE holding the money until I cleared the previous bonuses. I had 3 uncleared including November's, got my balance up to $600 with pontoon, I cleared the first and my withdrawal limit was now $100. Cleared the second, it was $200. Then on the final one everything was released.

I looked at the codes for November while checking out if the Dec code is out yet, and the wording of games available for wagering seems to have changed. It's worded ambiguously enough, so I guess a clarification is needed, but the changed lists for the November 18x specify games that are NOT viable for wagering, and this list does not include Pontoon, BUT the 30x code has Pontoon as a game that IS viable for wagering. Rules of logic say Pontoon was still viable for the 18x even after they changed the list, but casino logic isn't always real logic.

EDIT: the codes are up, Pontoon is NO LONGER possible for the 18x. Code is "mmdecdbj", 30x, for Pontoon and BJ.

Last month my friend deposited using the pokerroom code and was able to clear it playing blackjack at 25X just like the old days. Not sure if they cleared it up or not, but it is worth a shot.

Variance is fun

Wagered 2250 between Pontoon and SDBJ(0'07 HA) $25 per hand.
Left Pontoon with $300. Started playing SDBJ and got as low as $75. Recovered and got as high as $500.
Stopped to lock the profit when I had wagered 2250 and had $387.50 in my balance.

Wagered the 750 left in multi-hand blackjack 5 x $3 and went in less than 20 rounds to $250 , dealer was pulling 20s and 21s from everywhere.
Got as low as $190 and hit a nice run in the end to cashout $285.50 for $185.50 profit in half an hour.
