Paradise changes Bonus terms

Now you only get $5 per 100 points (instead of $10)

Now you only get a point if the pot is raked at least $1 (bye bye all microlimit players)

So you get only 5 cents per raked hand of $1 or more.

I think your old terms are still valid for the money you had before. Who knows what clears first though......

Im guessing not, I checked my pending bonus and they'd thrown in 10k on top of my existing $120.

There's also small print at the bottom stating the new terms ($1 in rake = 1 point)

No. Even people who did not get any "new" bonus money can only clear the old bonus money at the new clearance rate. The fine print at the bottom of the cashier screen has been changed to reflect this.

I think everyone's been pretty quick to think Paradise has new terms that are permanent. Rather, their website still has the old terms listed (if you look under FAQ for bonuses) and this new promotion has these terms listed, valid for only 30 days. So, I just wrote them and asked what happened to my old pending bonus and whether I would be able to use the old terms (the $0.25 instead of $1 rake and $10 instead of $5) to earn those. As it happens, I got a very quick reply which I think should put everyone's mind at ease. Here it is and not about to complain that for the next 30 days I have a lower rate but I just got $5,000 pending bonus I might be able to earn:

Better that than let Paradise whither and die on the vine. Paradise still has a recognisable name to trade on, but that will decline quickly with the passage of time.

Probably what they intended. Since they are losing us anyway, they decided to ream us first. Fortunately, I cleared all but $10 of my bonus before they decided to screw us over.
