Villain unknown, though he had just won this hand. Seemed like a reasonable play.

Hand 1, even with two small stack villians to see the flop, I'm at least calling preflop.

Hand 2, what's your read on the villian? I'm leaning towards raising the flop to $7.

Hand 1: yeah, I think I was distracted on another table. Towards the end of the session and my concentration was faltering.

Hand 2: completely unknown. The previous hand is the only hand I've seen him play.

Hand 2: against an unknown, I think I'd still raise it to $7 on the flop.

Hand 1: Villian 1 has a huge stack, so I would almost always call that on the BB and hope to hit a set. With what kind of hand do You want to show some resistance if not with that kind? After the flop, it would have been an easy fold.

Hand 2: If someone from the blinds bets something like 1/3 pot size into my preflop raise, my standard play would be a huge reraise. In addition, the flop here presents possible straight draws or a chance of a middle pair. So it is very likely that his bet could be a blocking bet or an information bet.

Reraise this to deny the pot odds for drawing hands or middle pairs with long shot draws like Q-J or J-T.

Hey, You once called me weak tight! How shall I call the way You played this hand?

Best regards

I love your German accent. I can hear it even when you write.

Hand one was just a brainfart. Busy.

To those who are saying I should raise the flop: are there any hands I beat that call besides AQ, AJ, QJ and 87?

(I'm assuming villain's not a complete moron. He may be unknown, but he has a full stack, and made a non-moronic sized preflop raise with AA.)

I think this is fine. I may or may not raise the flop. Depends on reads. Since villain is unknown, I think this is fine.
