Jigsaws, why didn't you bet the turn?

As played, I call the river.

Doesn't anything but a flush draw, AJ, or a 2 fold to my turn bet? I think I get some value out of lower Jacks and pocket pairs this way.

If you checked the turn to get value from lower jacks and pocket pairs, why are you questioning calling a tiny river bet?

bcuz the flush hit and thus making his hand less likely to b ahead now and less likely that this bet is a bluff at the end.

by checking the turn here u get a missed flush draw to bluff the river (assuming a blank on the river), u get a worse Q to c/c or possible throw out a weakish bet on the river. when the club hits tho u all of a sudden lose a good percentage of the hands u r ahead of thus making the call tough. checking the turn is setting up for when the club doesnt fall.

as for calling the river bet i prolly sigh and call. i have seen enough bluffs on this type of hand to think getting almost 7 to 1 is a profitble call.

this hand is played good. checking turn is obviously the better option IMO.

river is a pretty easy call. 7to1

You have to call the river! You're ahead of enough hands to make that a profitable call, this is a silly bet on his part and a very easy call.

Must call river getting > 6:1.
