Hero checks, Button bets $7.35, Hero ???

Villain was 52/9/2.5 over 60 hands. Is this a fold preflop also? I thought with the dead money that maybe I had a call.

Preflop is borderline with the dead money from CO.

Flop: sucks that Full Tilt has a Bet Pot button, hey? I don't think 6 outs are good enough to make this call.

The preflop call looks fine to me but I don't think you can do anything but fold the flop. When you call preflop you're playing for set value. Don't get lured in. Unless you know otherwise (and 52/9 really doesn't suggest it) his 3betting range is *tiny* and he's not letting go of AA/KK postflop hence good odds.

pokenum -h 6s 6c - as ac -- 3s 5h 2c
Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing 3s 2c 5h
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
6s 6c 237 23.94 745 75.25 8 0.81 0.243
As Ac 745 75.25 237 23.94 8 0.81 0.757

So no where near enough overlay to push and calling is just a spew.

Would anyone think about betting this? I don't see any option other than bet/fold to raise or check/fold to bet. A near-pot bet sometimes takes down hands like this if villain has Ak/Aq or some other non-pair hand.

You don't need to get fancy here. Play for set value and just c/f the flop

I'd fold to the preflop rr; you may have implied odds for the set, but you're OOP with a smaller pair. 5/10 rule is for hands when you're in position.

Check/fold flop, that's about as bad as it can get. If villain has ANY pair apart from the other two 6s, he's now in better shape than you are. Run away.

Dont mind pf. Fold flop as played, he likely has like TT-JJ or something and isnt folding.
